Deep tissue massage is designed to relieve severe tension in the muscles and connective tissue. The use of slow strokes and deep finger pressure on the affected areas to alleviate pain and stiffness. Through this type of treatment I utilize massage modalities such as active release, muscle energy techniques, trigger and pressure point therapy and joint mobilizations.

Fascia is a complex connective tissue that surrounds and holds all our muscles, bones, blood vessels, nerve fibers and organs. Working with the bodies fascial tissues, this deep tissue treatment is good for dealing with chronic strain, pain and tightness issues in the body. Using modalities of structural integration I work with the bodies fascial trains. These techniques can be used to create immediate changes in the body and unwind areas of holding patterns that we develop over time or from surgical scars and past injuries.
